We continued our sucessful working relationship with Petrofac recently when suppling our Speedway SW5 cable ladder system and Heavy Duty HR cable tray system to the Gas Sweetening Facilities (GSF) at Mesaieed & Dukhan.

The plant will have the capacity to process around 750 million cf/d of gas which will be used as feedstock for petrochemicals capacity planned at Masaieed. It will include a new acid gas removal unit, amine sweetening plant, rehabilitation of the sulphur recovery unit, supply and installation of compressors, a seawater cooling system, dehydration unit & flare gas system. 

The project loading requirements required the use of a structural steel. In addition to this the deep galvanised finish provided on the products will provide an enhanced project lifespan thus reducing maintenance costs.

Vantrunk are delighted to announce the award of two prestigious contracts from CQG Oil & Gas Contractor INC. & CCI Oil & Gas Contractor INC. for the supply of steel cable management products to the Petrobras P-58 & P-62 FPSOs.

The P-58 will be deployed on the Baleia Azul field and is intended to produce up to 180,000 barrels per day and will have a gas compression capacity of 6 million cubic metres per day. The P-62 will be deployed on the Roncador field in 1800m of water and will have the capacity to produce 180,000 barrels per day and 6 million cubic metres per day of natural gas production capacity. Vantrunk will be supplying their world renowned Speedway® SW4 & SW6 Cable Ladder systems as well as their Heavy Duty Cable Tray system.

Vantrunk are delighted to announce they have signed a framework agreement with Nexen Petroleum and its partners to supply the cable management system to the Golden Eagle Area Development Project.

The Golden Eagle Field was discovered in 2007 and is in the northern part of block 20/1, a few kilometres south of BG’s Atlantic Field and directly north of the Nexen operated Buzzard Oilfield.

The development will comprise two subsea drilling/production centres and a heavy duty jack-up drilling rig over a newly installed wellhead (W) platform that will be bridge-linked to
a fixed Production/Utilities/Quarters (PUQ) platform (collectively described as the Golden Eagle Area Development platform complex). Hydrocarbons from the Golden Eagle Area
Development (GEAD) will be processed on the GEAD platform complex.
