Vantrunk has always shown dedication to using new and innovative ways to test its Speedway Cable Ladder and Vantrunk Cable Tray to ensure that they can survive in extreme conditions. To this end, Vantrunk’s engineers recently collaborated with the Aircraft Research Association (ARA) to carry out a series of tests on its products.
The tests were carried out using the same wind tunnels that were used to carry out research on illustrious aircraft such as Concorde as well as the Tornado and Typhoon fighter jets. The purpose of the tests was to demonstrate how Vantrunk’s Cable Tray and Speedway Cable Ladder can survive the ferocious wind speeds and extreme conditions that would be produced by hurricane force winds.

Vantrunk recently attended the Australian Oil & Gas (AOG) show in Perth between the 20th – 22nd February 2013. Vantrunk exhibited from stand I30 in conjunction with our partners in Australia CNW Energy.
In the past few years AOG has broken records and become Australia's largest oil and gas exhibition, with over 450 exhibitors from 20 countries.
Vantrunk’s General Manager Mr Trevor Tomkins said of the event “it is always good to meet with people from within the industry to ensure Vantrunk stay in touch with industry trends and AOG was an excellent opportunity to do this. It was an extremely well attended event and helped to generate numerous new contacts.”
Australia is fast becoming a key energy market with projects such as Gorgon LNG, Wheatstone LNG, Browse LNG, Ichthys LNG and Queensland LNG.
